The Center for Psychological Discovery specializes in providing individualized psychological testing and evaluation to help clients better understand their unique needs and challenges. Through comprehensive assessments, the center identifies specific diagnostic conditions, strengths, and areas of growth that may affect daily functioning. These evaluations guide effective treatment plans and therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual's requirements. The center is committed to supporting clients in addressing mental health, learning, and attention challenges to help them lead more fulfilling lives.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, based in Alpharetta, GA, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling and therapy, interpreting diagnostic tests, and preparing clinical reports. The psychologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans and may also provide clinical supervision to support the professional growth of other team members.

This role is specifically for someone interested in working with children, ages 5-6 through 18.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Psychological Testing and assessment practices
  • Strong background in Mental Health diagnosis and treatment
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.

    D.) in Psychology and a valid state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with diverse populations and the ability to deliver culturally sensitive care
