Main duties of the jobAn opportunity exists for an experienced & enthusiastic Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, who specialises in Hand Therapy, to gain permanent employment with us. As the regional Hand Unit for the South East, the Queen Victoria Hospital is proud of its reputation for clinical excellence and constantly strives to maintain this through excellent patient care. The role involves both clinical and management responsibilities which include completing PDR's, development of staff, performance management and recruitment and workforce planning.

Person Specification Qualifications- Masters level degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate education and training
- Significant postgraduate clinical experience in relevant field.
- Experience in delivering clinical education and supervision to staff and students.
- Experience of working as part of a therapy and/or multidisciplinary team.
- Highly specialised knowledge and experience of hand assessment, evaluation and treatment techniques in relevant specialist field relating to a client centred approach.
- Highly specialised knowledge of relevant hand treatment modalities
