Overview
Job Title: 2 x social workers
Hours: 37 & 30 Hours per Week
Location: Bromsgrove Parkside based
Team: Redditch
Contract: Permanent
The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive team with a strong commitment to strength-based practice. We are seeking positive, motivated social workers who are passionate about working collaboratively with people to achieve meaningful outcomes.
The successful candidates will have experience of working with complex cases and demonstrate a high level of competence in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
. You will have extensive knowledge and practical experience of the Care Act
, Mental Capacity Act
, and Mental Health Act
, and be confident in applying legislation to practice.
You will be supported to continue developing your skills and knowledge through a range of training and CPD opportunities provided by our Social Work Academy. Candidates should be enthusiastic, able to work autonomously, and demonstrate creativity and flexibility in their approach to practice.
The role includes covering duty on a four-week rota basis
. Hybrid working is available; however, there is an expectation that staff will be office-based for a minimum of two days per week
.
You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support, working with individuals to enable positive change in their lives. You will be confident in advocating for people and working in partnership with health colleagues, statutory agencies, and voluntary and community sector providers. Staff are encouraged and supported to work creatively, innovatively, and to identify strength-based solutions.

Overviews of ComplianceDisclosure Barring Service (DBS): This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the DBS before the appointment is confirmed.
