Registered Dietitians play a vital role in improving the health and quality of life for residents by assessing nutritional status and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments using clinical knowledge to identify residents' nutritional needs and risks.
• Interview residents, families, legal representatives, and others to gather information for care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and clinical teams.
• Conduct meal observations and staff interviews to ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition.

Qualifications:

• Must have and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• Hold a current license or certification in the practicing state(s).
• Preferred:
  Experience in nutrition documentation.
