Position: Travel based - Clinical Counsellor/Clinical Social Worker/Registered Psychologist

Travel-Based Clinical Counsellor / Social Worker / Registered Psychologist – Aurora Wellness Group – Northern Communities (Yukon & Remote Regions).

We are seeking a Travel-Based Clinical Counsellor, Social Worker, or Registered Psychologist to provide in-person mental health services in remote northern communities. This contract role involves regular travel by ground and/or air
, with flexible scheduling and part-time or full-time opportunities available.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide client-centred, trauma-informed counselling services in remote and northern communities
  • Travel to communities by ground and/or air as part of scheduled outreach services
  • Deliver services in a culturally responsive and community-informed manner
  • Complete assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation
  • Practice in accordance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
  • Maintain strong communication with the Aurora Wellness Group team while working remotely
  • Contribute to a highly skilled, supportive, and collaborative clinical team
What We’re Looking For
  • A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with a relevant regulatory body (e.g., College of Social Work, Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, College of Psychologists)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with remote, rural, or northern communities
  • Commitment to respectful, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care
  • Comfort with independent practice, travel, and flexible work environments
  • Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and professional integrity
