Position: RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - West Jordan

Overview

We are seeking someone who is passionate about behavioral health care, interested in learning about psychology and disability supports, and excited about providing high-quality care for children on the spectrum. Responsibilities
  • Establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with clients and their guardians, showing warmth, professionalism, and compassion in a therapeutic environment.
  • Administering ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA.
  • Communicating with caregivers regarding clinical progress and session activities.
  • Communicating with supervisors regarding skill acquisition, barriers to treatment, scheduling, and other treatment-related items.
  • Accurately recording data on skill acquisition and behavioral progression.
  • Completing skill acquisition procedures using Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Naturalistic Environment Teaching (NET) as written.
  • Using function-based strategies to prevent and respond to clients’ needs and challenges.
  • Responding to novel challenges with a combination of behavior-analytic techniques and compassion.
  • Writing comprehensive session notes following each session for review and submission to client insurance providers.
  • Direct Disability Support during sessions, including activities such as feeding, clothing, handwashing, and assistance with toilet tasks as needed.
  • Opportunities to participate in social skills activities (e.g., game-based sessions) and Thrive program duties where applicable.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, healthcare/mental health services, etc. is strongly preferred.
  • Complete required training, pass the RBT competency assessment, and obtain RBT certification within the designated timeframe with NBCG support.
  • Full-time requirement of 32+ hours per week, with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
  • Availability of 3 afternoons a week (3:00 pm to 7:00 pm).
  • Attend a once-a-month 2-hour Saturday training (no additional weekend shifts required).
  • Reliable transportation; position may require travel to multiple locations (center and home-based).
  • This is not a temporary position.

  • Flexible block scheduling with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts; no holidays or weekend shifts.
  • Continued education offered in-house, including safety care training and monthly ABA trainings.
  • Mileage reimbursement for driving between locations.
  • Monthly RBT social activities, game nights, and gift card raffles.
  • Referral bonuses of $50–$1000, depending on position filled and tenure.

  • Internships for individuals pursuing a master’s degree in ABA.

  • Tuition reimbursement up to $1,000 for employees enrolled in master programs seeking BCBA licensure after one year with NBCG.
