A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Evesham, Bredon, Broadway and Inkberrow (EBBI) Neighbourhood Team. This is a part‑time position offering 21 hours over 3 days. The role involves delivering both planned and urgent Physiotherapy support to our local adult population. You will be expected to contribute to high‑quality patient care, working closely with our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists as well as the wider Community Nursing team.
Successful applicants will be professional and ambitious and willing to develop their skills to become a responsive practitioner. We visit patients in their homes and provide new starters with a structured induction package to build your confidence and competence. There will be many opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge.

** Sponsorship** – The Trust will not routinely provide sponsorship to work for this role, and employment on a time‑limited visa does not guarantee sponsorship at the point of expiry.
** Pay** – In addition to meeting the Home Office salary threshold you must have significant experience to be offered top of the pay band and work a minimum of 35.5 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The Physiotherapy core service works from 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday and within the wider Neighbourhood Team which covers 07:30 to 18:30 Monday to Sunday including bank holidays. While on duty you may work alone or alongside colleagues to support delegated tasks in line with Trust standards and core values. Under the direction of a Physiotherapist, you will carry out delegated duties to support the Physiotherapy Service and implement programmes of intervention, including provision of standard equipment and treatment programmes.
Wider tasks may be delegated and have been assessed by a qualified Healthcare professional. Tasks may include personal care, supporting daily activities, participating in manual handling and other allocated tasks such as setting up equipment, and recording observations. Clear and timely communication – verbal, non‑verbal or written – is key to your role and supports patient‑centred care.
