£12.70 per hour | 25 hours per week

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to recruit a Support Assistant CQC Registered for our Learning Disabilities Service at Sycamore Court in Leicester.

The role of Support Assistant will include:

• Providing a high quality, hands‑on support service
• Supporting customers to build the confidence they need to gain further independence
• Encouraging customers to develop daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community participation
• Working with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for our customers
• Maintaining a safe environment for clients and supporting in accordance with relevant regulations, procedures and practices

• Experience working with vulnerable adults is desirable; passion and willingness to learn are also encouraged
• Trained team player
• Empathetic, non‑judgmental with a positive approach to challenging behaviour
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, listening and time‑management skills
• Literacy and numeracy equivalent to at least GCSE Grade C in English and Mathematics
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it
