Medical Billing and Coding job at Volt Group. Houston, TX.
- Reviewing patient medical records
- Coding treatment information using Common Procedure Terminology (CPT) codes
- Receiving patient treatment codes to use in assembling reimbursement claims
- Creating reimbursement claims and transfer to third-party payers
- Coordinating reimbursement activities with payers
- Billing patients for medical services
Remote positions available. 6-month online course. A computer, internet and telephone are needed for this opportunity.
- Our Medical Billing and Coding division currently has openings for specialist. The ideal candidate will complete our online self-paced course and upon successful completion, review and submit claims for our medical clients.
Qualifications:
self-starter; excellent typing and mathematical skills; ability to learn ICD-9 Codes and procedures, medical terminology; close attention to detail; excellent time management skills; - Goal-oriented, self-starter, highly accurate and motivated Medical Billing & Coding Specialist needed. In-house self-paced online course available. The successful candidate will:
- Currently seeking Medical Billing & Coding Specialists who will be responsible for the timely submission of medical claims. This position allows you to work remotely from your home office. Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent), computer & typing skills, self-motivated, and able to complete the online self-paced course within 6 months.
