We are recruiting Team Administrators to join our Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team providing full secretarial services.
This role sits within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams across Brighton and Hove. You will be joining the team at an exciting time of development and expansion as we adapt and enhance our ways of working to meet the growing needs of the Trust.
This is a varied role with lots of progression available to the right person. You will be joining a team of administration colleagues who are committed to delivering an effective administration service.
Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams are a vital part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and we are looking to recruit to a number of Band 3 Team Administrator posts .
Central Neighbourhood Mental Health Team 1 x full time post based at Mill View Hospital, Hove
West Mental Health Neighbourhood Team 1 x 0.8 (30 hours) post based at Mill View Hospital, Hove
Specialist Older Adults Team 1 x 0.4 (15 hours) post Thursday and Friday based at Mill View Hospital
East Mental Health Neighbourhood Team 1 x full time post based at East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre, Brighton General Hospital
East Mental Health Neighbourhood Team 1 x 0.8 (30 hours) post based at East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre, Brighton General Hospital
Main duties of the jobWorking closely with Clinicians, key areas of focus in this role will be:
- Providing a comprehensive, high quality secretarial service
- Organising client appointments, updating calendars, booking interpreters as required
- Booking in initial assessments
- Minute taking
- Dealing sensitively with people, both on the telephone and in person, taking accurate messages and relaying them to the appropriate people and/or taking follow up action as required using appropriate initiative
- As well as undertaking other general administration duties
You will need to use your strong people skills, attention to detail and motivation to constantly improve the way we work.
About usThe Neighbourhood Mental Health Service provides a Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm service for people experiencing mental health difficulties in the community in partnership with a wide range of health services.
