Medical Coder- FULLY REMOTE

Job Overview

Tek Systems is currently hiring for several FULLY REMOTE Medical Coders! These positions would start at the end of January!

• Review work from Client Coordinators, examining provider and payer submissions.
• Determine the correct coding and payment recommendation for each case.
• Make determinations and pass cases to QA for review.
• Repeatedly process Emergency Services cases to complete the workflow.

• 1-3+ years of medical coding experience.
• Must be CPC certified (CPC required, CCS is acceptable).
• Experience or exposure to inpatient coding, emergency services coding, or DRG coding.
• Awareness of HIPAA.
• Own equipment and reliable internet – must be able to work remotely.

This is a contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL, but fully remote.

Start date:

end of January 2026.

The pay range for this position is $25.00—$25.00/hr.
