You will be joining a team of hardworking, passionate people who come together to deliver a high-quality MAT program that increases access to treatment for patients all across NC and VA.
This role is fee-for-service, with a rate of $90/hour of services rendered.
Responsibilities- Deliver virtual Evaluation and Management visits
- Prescribe MAT medication where appropriate
- Prescribe to manage coexisting mental health conditions where appropriate
- Deliver supportive counseling to engage the patient in their recovery journey
- Develop clinical alliances with patients
- Utilize T 's custom-built EHR to document patient visits with accuity
- Collaborate effectively with the supervising physician
- Communicate effectively with the case management team and collaborating therapists
- Adhere to T clinical policy guidelines in delivering virtual care
- Maintain a professional appearance and workspace for your telehealth appointments. These appointments must be conducted from a private office or home office.
This role will begin as part-time, with the option to increase your patient census and transition to full-time work. Preference will be given to candidates who can take at least 20 hours of work per week.

All telehealth visits will be done through the HIPAA-compliant Zoom account provided by the medical practice.
Qualifications- Applicants must be Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) and hold an uninhibited DEA license for prescribing medication. Practitioners must have an active NC medical license and an active NC-based DEA license. Priority will be given to NPs with BOTH NC and Virginia licensure.
- The ideal applicant has experience working with SUD patients and for a virtual clinic delivering telehealth care, and licensure to practice in North Carolina AND Virginia.
- Bilingual applicants preferred (English/Spanish speaking).
- Applicants with an established supervising physician for VA are preferred.
- Comfortable working in a remote setting.
- Applicants must excel at independent problem-solving for both the unique needs of patients and the challenges with delivering care through a fully virtual program.
