** Shift:
** Rotating - 8 hour shifts

** 7am-7pm
** Weekend:
** Every 5th Saturday & On Call Friday-Monday
** Holiday :
** On Call Rotation The Pharmacy Tech II Clinical performs the technician responsibilities of clinical pharmacy care delivery under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist or licensed independent practitioner.
* Demonstrates advanced technical skills and ownership of the work area
* Demonstrates the ability to work independently defined areas of pharmacy practice competently
* Assumes local and/or system responsibility for assigned tasks related to advanced clinical job positions
* Participates in the training of new employees
* Fills and delivers medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist/licensed independent practitioner
* Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care
* Triages and escalates any questions or issues outside the pharmacy technician's scope of practice as needed
* Uses appropriate systems for processing patient information
* Ensures quality assurance is maintained according to departmental and legal requirements
* Operates pharmacy equipment appropriately
* Participates in clinical initiatives to continuously improve patient care
* Training in an advanced Clinical Pharmacy Technician job function
* In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned
* A pharmacy technician license is required in the state of practice
** Education
* ** High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
** Certification/Licensure
*** Virginia Pharmacy Tech License (Required)
* CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB (Required)
** Experience
* ** 2 Years Pharmacy Experience (Required)
* 1 Year IV or Sterile Compounding Experience (Preferred)
