Overview
Outpatient neurology practice based in West Houston.
Role DescriptionThis is a part-time prn role based in Houston, TX, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. As an Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician at MIND Neurology Clinic, your responsibilities will include performing EEG tests on patients, preparing patients for testing procedures, and ensuring accurate data collection. Delivering compassionate and professional patient care is a crucial aspect of this role.
Qualifications- Proficiency in performing and interpreting EEG procedures
- Understanding of epilepsy and relevant neurophysiological concepts
- Familiarity with medical terminology and neurology-related treatments
- Strong patient care and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both on-site and remotely as required
- Relevant certifications in EEG technology; registry through ABRET is preferred
- Prior experience in healthcare settings or working with neurology patients is an advantage
- High attention to detail and ability to adhere to data recording protocols
