Position: Ambulatory Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Research, collect, and analyze information to support operational projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate on performance improvement activities to enhance program efficiency and patient experience
  • Conduct thorough reviews of ambulatory patient records, documenting relevant findings
  • Validate and ensure accurate assignment of HCC diagnosis affecting RAF scores
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare documentation standards and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Associate’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with compliant healthcare documentation and HCC coding requirements
  • Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) or other relevant certification in clinical documentation integrity
  • Knowledge of outpatient reimbursement models and the impact of provider documentation
  • Ability to synthesize and analyze data and provide detailed summaries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related healthcare field
  • Experience in a multi‑facility integrated healthcare delivery system
  • Previous consulting experience in healthcare documentation or revenue cycle management
