Collection Specialist​/Medical - Remote

• Ensure daily goals for cash collections and account receivables over 90 days are met
• Research outstanding balances and take necessary actions to resolve them promptly
• Negotiate payment plans with patients in accordance with company policies
• Review insurance remittance advices for accuracy and resolve billing errors
• Communicate consistently and professionally with other employees

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical collections with knowledge of managed care and insurance reimbursement
• Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred
• Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in home infusion therapy collections
• Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with a 10-key calculator
• Familiarity with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting information
