Physical Therapy Billing Specialist, Work from Home

• Manage and resolve aging accounts to ensure timely collections
• Review and process electronic claims denials daily
• Prepare and submit insurance bills, including secondary claims
• Research and appeal claim denials and manage patient refund requests
• Ensure accurate entry of patient data and charges for billing

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1‑3 years of successful experience in medical billing and collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
• Ability to efficiently alphabetize and file documents
• Strong typing skills, with a capability of 10‑12 thousand keystrokes per hour

• Experience with Rain Tree or EMR systems
• Familiarity with Assisted Living billing processes
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence
