• Provide peer support to callers over the phone, building rapport and engagement
• Maintain a distraction‑free private office space to ensure HIPAA compliance
• Offer available resources and information to callers in need
• Remain calm and professional while multitasking and supporting callers
• Participate in ongoing meetings, training, and team‑building activities

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification as a Peer Support Worker, Family Peer, Wraparound, or equivalent
• Current experience as a peer and willingness to acquire certification in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Commitment to personal recovery and ongoing development

• Experience working in crisis intervention or peer support settings
• Familiarity with the New Mexico Crisis and Access Line (NMCAL)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends
• Previous training in HIPAA compliance
