Position: ELECTROCARDIOGRAPH TECHNICIAN

Job Purpose:
The Electrocardiograph Technician deals with ECG/EKG electronic printouts that show heart rhythms to analyze and identify irregular rhythms.

Job Authorities:
The Electrocardiograph Technician performs analyses on ECG/EKG reports and communication with clients and internal team members to address any clinical related issues the customer may face.

Job Duties:

Able to identify arrhythmias.
Maintain quality results by evaluating event logs to support physician diagnoses.
Perform related clerical duties such as filing records, procedure completion, and telephone answering as required.
Work closely with the project team to improve the clinical workflow for our clients and their patients.
Accompany the Sales Manager for sales presentations with our clients as and when required.
Attend to our clients’ enquiries and ECG setup home-based monitoring care at their residences as and when required.
Work with courier service for the collection of Holter biosensor according to client’s service order.
Monthly reporting of Service level performance.
Perform other duties as and when assigned by immediate superior.

Skills/

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Cardiac Technology/Medial Technology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Sciences Studies or equivalent.

Relevant working experience in the cardiology department or any cardiac experience.

Registered nurses with ECG Interpretation certification.

Associate in science & healthcare education with experience/training/knowledge in electrocardiography are welcome to apply. Certification at a later date can be arranged.

Relevant working experience in ECG diagnosis or cardiology is preferred.

Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

Possess good planning and organizing skills.

Service-oriented and customer-focused.

Willing to work occasionally on weekends is preferred.
