About the PositionThe APAC Healthcare Research Analyst will support our coverage of healthcare industry developments across Asia-Pacific, with a particular focus on Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The analyst will help track and analyze healthcare policy reforms, healthcare payment and reimbursement policies, and compile and update public healthcare datasets monthly. The position reports into our APAC Healthcare team.
We are seeking a diligent and proactive researcher who is comfortable handling information in both Chinese and English, can think critically about complex policy changes, and is eager to grow their understanding of healthcare systems and business strategy in the region. Prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required — we will provide close guidance and support to help the analyst develop professional research and writing skills.
Analysts will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful research outputs, including policy translation summaries, data tracking reports, policy research papers, and visual materials (e.g., charts, Power Points) that are used by senior corporate clients and internal analysts.

The analyst contractor will be part of Frontier View’s global research team. The global research team produces all syndicated content for Frontier View’s client base of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations. The team combines regional knowledge, macroeconomic and political insights, and business acumen to provide impactful analysis, forecasts, and executional advice for a senior executive audience. They work in close collaboration with the commercial team in supporting Frontier View’s growth strategy and ongoing client relationships.
The healthcare research team is also responsible for producing syndicated content and analysis looking at healthcare systems, market access, and reimbursement as it relates to the operations of multinationals in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
Qualified individuals with a passion for informing the decisions of senior corporate executives are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a position that will allow the analyst to see how insights and information on healthcare policy are used by senior decision makers within major healthcare companies.
The analyst contractor will conduct ongoing research and analysis, with a focus on secondary research. They will receive daily coaching, feedback, and support as part of our collaborative, meritocratic team culture.
The compensation will be around CNY 11,600/month in this contracted position. Please note this is a contracted position with a start date likely in March 2026.
What To Expect in This Position- Content production on healthcare system, market access, and reimbursement trends in Greater China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong). This includes report writing, news analysis, and presentation development on key healthcare themes.
- Responsible for providing inputs into the APAC narrative for healthcare companies to inform their budgeting and goal-setting processes
- Extensive advisory work for clients, including ability to present to senior decision makers with P&L responsibilities across a variety of healthcare companies
- Responsibility for setting the agenda in terms of topics and issues to cover, ways of bringing that syndicated content to clients, and selecting priority areas of further research work
- Extensive partnership with the commercial team in supporting new business generation as well as renewals
- Collaborative work with other members of the global healthcare research team on global and regional-level special research projects

- Strong attention to detail, execution efficiency, critical thinking skills, and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
- Excellent communication skills in English (writing, editing, and presenting)
- Demonstrated research experience, including finding and validating information, building hypotheses, dealing with complex/technical materials, and understanding different sources of information is required
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, international relations, business, public health, healthcare management, or related fields is preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or interest in global healthcare systems through academic and/or professional research experience is preferred, but not required
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel; ability to create simple, clean charts and presentations
