• Acute care setting (outpatient & inpatient coding)

• Perform medical coding in an acute care setting using CPC/CCS codes.
• Code outpatient and inpatient procedures and diagnoses accurately.
• Utilize insurance websites and electronic health records for coding verification.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and hospital policy.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle and clinical teams to resolve coding issues.

• 1+ year of medical coding experience in an outpatient setting (surgical coding preferred).
• 2+ years of acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency in CPC and CCS coding systems.
• Knowledge of insurance websites and Medicare/Medicaid coding.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
