Part-Time Sports Physician x

Contract Type: Self-Employed Contractor
Hours: 1 or 2 days per week – hours and days to be agreed with the successful candidates.
Location: One day per week based at either Peter O’Sullevan House, Newmarket, or Jack Berry House, Malton, with flexibility for remote work and occasional home or hospital visits.
Reporting to: Clinical Operations Director
Remuneration: Competitive daily rate (contractor basis) or hourly rate to be confirmed with successful candidate.
Start Date: 1st April 2026 (flexible)

• Provide specialist sport and exercise medicine expertise to injured and recovering jockeys.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, psychotherapists, nutritionists, and fitness teams to deliver evidence‑based, person‑centered care.
• Support the wider medical needs of IJF beneficiaries, including those with musculoskeletal injuries, concussion, chronic pain, and medical conditions affecting performance or recovery.
• Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and quality assurance across the IJF medical service.
