Position Summary
We are seeking to appoint two Specialist Audiologists to join our busy and friendly team. There are two permanent positions available, both roles are mixed adult and paediatric specialist audiology roles.
Position one: Full time FTE 37.5 hours per week.
Position two: Part time 0.7 FTE 26.25 hours per week.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will need to be a well‑motivated, enthusiastic, qualified and registered audiologist. We are an innovative department, providing a comprehensive audiology service. You will join a highly motivated team, committed to providing a high quality service.
Main duties will be in the assessment and (re) habilitation of children and adults with hearing difficulties, on both complex and routine pathways.
You must have excellent communication skills with adults, children and parents, and have a desire to find creative and effective solutions for patients with a variety of hearing problems.
You will be a competent practitioner and able to work without supervision in the main department and at community clinics.
You will be expected to develop specialist expertise although training will be given. We are a training department and you would be expected to contribute to training junior staff and HTS, PTP and STP trainees.

You will ideally have an STP in Audiology or equivalent. HCPC/AHCS registration is expected.
