Capital Equipment Sales Representative – Southern California (Microbiology)
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Capital Equipment Sales Representative to advance our microbiology solutions across Southern California. This remote role, based in Sacramento, CA, focuses on generating new accounts, deepening relationships, and achieving sales targets for our advanced diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities- Grow total customer accounts by prospecting, discovering, and developing competitive opportunities.
- Own account plans, prepare and execute business reviews, and implement sales plans to meet sales and financial goals.
- Develop strategies and tactics that progress through the sales stages effectively, following up quickly and thoroughly on agreed action items.
- Use deep market and competitive knowledge to create creative strategies and closing tactics.
- Link Beckman Coulter’s Microbiology solutions to customers’ technical, financial, and business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in sciences) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of capital equipment, laboratory, or medical device sales experience in a hospital or laboratory setting; or 5+ years as a Microbiology Medical Technologist; or a combination of relevant sales and microbiology technologist experience.
- Highly organized with a strong program and solid understanding of sales processes.
- Makes frequent field travel (50‑80% of the time, including some overnight travel).
Salary range: $95,000–$115,000 (range may be modified). In addition, this role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
Remote WorkThis position is eligible for a remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from your home while managing your sales territory and goals.
