Summary

The Drug Rebate Team Lead is responsible for overseeing day-to-day Drug Rebate operations in support of Medicaid and pharmacy programs. This role serves as a subject matter expert for rebate dispute resolution, claims validation, and manufacturer communications, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Team Lead supports accurate reporting and invoicing, monitors workflow and productivity, and collaborates with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes across rebate operations.

Your role in our mission
  • Lead and support Drug Rebate operations, ensuring timely and accurate dispute resolution across Medicaid and pharmacy programs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex rebate, claims, and compliance issues
  • Monitor workflows, prioritize high-materiality disputes, and track productivity and quality metrics
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, providers, clients, and internal stakeholders to achieve program goals
  • Support training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing for team members and new hires
  • Update, maintain and build drug rebate policy and procedure documents.
What we're looking for
  • 5–10 years of experience in Drug Rebates, Medicaid, pharmacy claims processing, or medical billing
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA, confidentiality, and healthcare compliance standards
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a regulated environment
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or serving as a subject matter expert for team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management tools, including PDF editing and scanning
  • Extensive experience in managing the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program with expertise in executing all phases of the quarterly rebate cycle including invoicing, disputes resolution and payment processing.

  • Monday–Friday work schedule aligned with business needs
  • Reliable high-speed internet required (minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload; no public Wi-Fi)

The pay range for this position is $43,800.00-$62,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
