As a Therapist, you’ll provide evidence-based services that promote stability, recovery, and hope. You’ll meet clients where they are — in their homes and communities — and support them in navigating challenges, building coping skills, and moving toward healthier, more independent lives.
Because you’ll be traveling to serve clients in multiple settings, reliable transportation is essential. The good news? You’ll be reimbursed for mileage, and every visit is an opportunity to bring help and healing right where it’s needed most.

Founded in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania in 1967, The Bair Foundation is a Christian non-profit ministry serving children and families. We have provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. Today, The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

WHAT YOU’LL DO TO MAKE AN IMPACT
- Provide individual and family therapy guided by person-centered, strength-based treatment plans
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver weekly therapy sessions and psycho-educational support to improve stability and coping
- Provide crisis intervention and connect clients to appropriate community resources
- Collaborate with community providers and support systems to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation that meets state, Medicaid, and agency standards
- Travel regularly to homes and community settings — reliable transportation is essential (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Provide on-call crisis response on a rotation basis when assigned
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a behavioral health field (requirements vary by state)
- State licensure required or in progress (examples: LPC, LSW, LMFT, LISW, LMHC, LMSW, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
