Reimbursement Specialist - Provider Enrollment - Remote - RESIDE IN NC

• Compile, analyze, and report on departmental performance, noting trends and making recommendations
• Ensure accurate and compliant charge items by utilizing clinical and coding knowledge
• Coordinate projects and audits to enhance revenue cycle processes and billing efficiency
• Manage systems for accounts receivable and prepare written reports for leadership
• Facilitate communication between insurance companies, governmental agencies, and internal staff

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; post‑secondary courses in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred
• Minimum of four years of related experience in healthcare; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field can substitute for the experience requirement
• Strong analytical skills to assess departmental performance indicators
• Ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders

• Experience with financial reporting and accounts receivable systems in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of billing and coding regulations
• Previous experience in training or mentoring staff
• Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle management processes
• Additional certifications in healthcare finance or related fields
