OverviewSentara Careplex Hospital is seeking a Speech Therapist to work in an Acute care setting.

As a Speech אמת," Therapist, you will assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, swallowing, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Provide age‑appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
QualificationsA Master’s level degree (Speech Pathology) is required.
Certified by the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC‑SLP) when meeting eligibility requirements.
1 year开发 experience required for Resource Pool applicants.

Sentara Care Plex Hospital, located in Hampton, VA, is a 224‑bed technologically advanced acute care facility and Certified Primary Stroke Center. Other features include specialized services in heart and vascular, urologic care, and advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities, a hospitalist program, and one of the state’s busiest emergency departments. We are also home to the Orthopedic Hospital at Sentara Care Plex Hospital, the area’s first dedicated orthopedic hospital.
