Experienced Patient Services Specialist Remote; Michigan Residents

• Respond to patient inquiries regarding healthcare accounts receivables in a high-volume billing Call Center
• Ensure timely and effective communication with patients through various channels
• Research and educate patients on outstanding bills and their status
• Initiate and resolve account receivable errors with billing teams
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with organizational, federal, and state regulations

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent;
  Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years of Call Center experience
• At least one (1) year of billing experience (billing and coding)
• Six (6) months of remote work experience
• Ability to interpret insurance billing processes

• Experience in healthcare/medical office customer service
• Technical skills in Microsoft Suite and online payment methods
• Strong de-escalation skills for handling challenging calls
