Specialty Coder II - Anesthesia (Remote)

Bay Care Health System is seeking a Certified Professional Coder to assign diagnosis and procedural codes for anesthesia services. This full‑time remote position requires residence in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina and a shift of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

  Monday through Friday

• Assign diagnosis and procedural codes using ICD‑10 CM and CPT‑4 coding systems.
• Audit physician documentation to assign appropriate CPT, diagnosis codes and modifiers related to anesthesia coding and billing as well as anesthesia minutes.
• Mentor and train other Specialty Coders.
• Serve as a resource for the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
