• Job Type: Part-time
• Schedule: Monday – Wednesday, 7 hours per day (21 hours per week)
• Salary: $20.00 per hour
• Location: Remote (off‑site with occasional visits to the home office at 3201 South Tamarac Dr., Denver 80231)

JFS is a nonprofit human services organization that serves anyone in need, regardless of circumstances or religious beliefs. With over 150 years of experience, we offer more than 30 programs including mental health counseling, housing stability, and disability services. We take a holistic approach to assess individual or family needs and provide appropriate services from one organization.

• Provides services to older, disabled, or chronically ill clients in their homes, including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms (floors), laundry, linen changing, supplemental grocery shopping, and light meal preparation as needed.
• Represents Jewish Family Service in the homes of clients and in the community.
• Reports any problems or concerns of the client to the Field Staff Supervisor.
• Attends scheduled supervisory and other mandatory agency meetings and trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

  Experience:
  
  Preferred one year of relevant experience; experience in housekeeping/cleaning in apartments and private homes is preferred.
• Attention to detail and timeliness are essential.
• Knowledge of aging and disabilities.
• Ability to communicate by phone.
• Ability to comprehend and complete daily logs, delivery logs, mileage sheets, and schedules.
• A valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
• Employees must maintain a driving record that meets agency insurance requirements and be able to travel to multiple sites or community locations as part of regular job duties.
• Mileage reimbursement is provided in accordance with agency policy.
• Ability to provide good client and customer service.
• Job requires pleasant interaction with others on the job, a cooperative attitude, attention to detail, and thorough completion of work tasks.

• Must have the physical ability necessary to perform tasks such as cleaning, laundry, light meal preparation, errands, and moving light furniture.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and perform push/pull motions; lift 50 pounds or more if required.
• Must be able to travel between sites, communicate effectively, and use standard office and mobile equipment.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID‑19 (proof required), subject to legally required exemptions.
