Fully Remote Patient Account Representatives
Tek Systems is hiring a few full-time remote Patient Account Representatives in the EST/CST time zones.
Key Requirements- 1-3 years of medical patient account representative experience, or medical insurance/authorizations experience.
- Must reside in an EST or CST time zone.
Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST. Remote position. Must be located in EST/CST.
Responsibilities include answering incoming calls from providers, health plans, and members regarding eligibility, benefits, claims, coverage, and authorization of services. You will problem-solve and explain programs and procedures to callers, as well as answer and address claim payment questions with providers.
Job Duties- Answer incoming phone calls via ACD phone system.
- Provide eligibility, benefits, claim, and referral status information based on queue.
- Assist in resolving provider issues related to claims, authorizations, and eligibility inquiries.
Skills & Qualifications
Nice to have:
- Experience in a call center within a healthcare environment.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Contract position based in Dallas, TX, but fully remote.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $18.00 - $18.00 per hour.
