A Day in the Life
:
This is a remote position; the candidate must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Provide technical, educational, clinical and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives.
- Represent Medtronic CAS during ablation procedures to provide troubleshooting and other technical assistance.
- Receive technical inquiries from customers and research solutions to questions or problems (e.g., catheter, console, generator support).
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters relating to AFS products and related procedures.
- Conduct one‑on‑one training sessions, in‑service education programs, seminars and/or outside symposiums.
- Assist RM and field training department in educating/training new Clinical Specialists and Account Managers.
- Provide training resources for hospital staff to enable them to train their personnel.
- Support sales representatives by updating them on procedures and immediately notifying Account Managers regarding issues or problems requiring follow‑up.
- Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service and support.
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
- Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives and work in partnership with the Account Manager to achieve and exceed goals.
- High School diploma plus a minimum of 8 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in the cardiac field.
- Associate degree plus a minimum of 6 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in the cardiac field.
- Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 4 years of work experience in healthcare within an EP, Cath Lab setting or sales in the cardiac field.
- Preference for local qualified candidates and those with Medtronic experience.
- B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences or a technical discipline with a minimum of four years of work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.
- Pacing school/ATI‑like training program in addition to BQs.
- Proven track record with technical training assignments.
- Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
Job Requirements
- Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Clinical Specialists must be within their assigned territory each day to be available for unscheduled needs.
- May be required to travel outside the assigned territory and possibly overnight.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance.
- Must be able to stand, sit and walk for 8 hours a day.
- Must be able to drive approximately 25–50% of the time within assigned territory.

Benefits & Compensation- Base salary range for U.S. locations: $100,000–$120,000.
