Revenue Integrity Specialist

• Conduct audits of payer processed claims to verify accurate reimbursement per payer contract agreements, government, and state rates
• Perform post-implementation Care Center audits following the audit policy based on provider schedules
• Assist in leading strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and deliver expected results
• Make independent decisions regarding audit results and communicate findings with various teams
• Identify, monitor, and manage denial management trends and collaborate with Revenue Cycle Teams

• High School Graduate preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot table, VLOOKUP, sort/filtering, and formulas)
• Minimum of 3 years experience with payer contracts and/or auditing payer payments
• Proven analytical skills to identify payment variances and resolve payment issues
• Experience working in a medical billing office preferred, with familiarity in Trizetto EOB resolve tool or equivalent software

• Experience with athena
  
  One software system
• 3+ years of experience in a medical billing office
• Familiarity with HIPAA rules and regulations
