Vice President of Human Resources at Covalus
Leads a team of consultants and is responsible for evaluating medical equipment, coordinating development of vendor drawings, developing medical equipment and furnishings budgets for projects, evaluating and proposing diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, assisting in preparing cost estimates, and assisting owners/clients with selecting medical equipment.
Hybrid openings in Nashville, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City or Minneapolis and remote positions available.
- Assists owners/clients in selecting medical equipment and related systems.
- Must be able to lead the equipment planning meetings with the client for a project.
- Evaluates medical equipment and related systems with respect to age, condition, and technological status.
- Assembles medical equipment specifications and coordinates the development of healthcare systems vendor drawings.
- Develops medical equipment and furnishings budgets for healthcare construction projects.
- Participates in the development of detailed medical equipment brochures.
- Evaluates and proposes diagnostic and therapeutic equipment for all hospital departments.
- Participates in multiple and diverse healthcare construction projects simultaneously.
- Generates and analyzes RFPs, providing value analysis of competitive medical equipment systems.
- Assists in preparing project cost estimates for inclusion in owner/client proposals.
- Participates in marketing efforts, including preparing initial marketing material, RFPs and formal presentations.
- Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support the company's core values and meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or a related field with 5+ years of equipment planning experience preferred; or related equivalent work experience.
- Possess a working knowledge of healthcare programmatic information, architectural plans, and healthcare medical equipment vendors.
- Demonstrates solid presentation skills and verbal/written skills.
