We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, energetic & patient‑focused Patient Access Navigator to join our Patient Services Team and deliver customer‑facing services to support patient access.
As part of Amgen Entrust Patient Support Services, Patient Access Navigators will support patients and their health care providers to access Amgen therapies and associated support services.
Key Responsibilities- Enroll and onboard patients into an Amgen Patient Services Program
- Liaise with patients’ relevant health care providers to support patients’ access to therapy and support services
- Provide logistical, non‑medical educational assistance to patients and caregivers as well as office and site of care staff, including physicians, nurses and/or office managers
- Work collaboratively with Amgen Patient Services Team members and cross‑functional partners, third‑party PSP team members at the Patient Program HUB and other decentralized PSP partners
- Establish milestones and checkpoints to ensure successful work/project completion; follow up on work efforts and take corrective steps when needed to keep work on track
- Support patients in navigating reimbursement access for their prescribed Amgen therapy, including reimbursement investigation, facilitating insurance coverage documentation, coordination of benefits, and financial assistance
- Coordinate Free of Charge Goods (FOCG) for eligible patients
- Coordinate bridging to reimbursement for patients who meet eligibility requirements
- Facilitate patients’ access to reminder services
- Coordinate with approved Amgen third‑party patient service providers for scheduling lab testing, coordinating injection training resources, and coordinating infusion services
- Adhere to Amgen pharmacovigilance policy for reporting adverse events and product complaints
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of related experience
- OR college diploma with at least 4 years of related experience; nursing background is a must
- 2+ years of patient support/reimbursement experience, or 3 years of relevant work experience in a high‑service culture
- Experience with Patient Support Programs
- Familiarity with Health Canada requirements
- Organized, detail‑oriented with strong service‑based mindset
- Experience with Salesforce or other relevant CRM systems
- Strong multi‑tasking, prioritization and proactive problem‑solving abilities
- Strong analytical skills and strategic mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate and work in teams to achieve results in a complex, fast‑paced service environment
- Willingness to conduct field travel, including occasional overnight and weekend travel to company meetings and client sites
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

The salary range for this position is $85,035 – $103,438 CAD.
In addition to base salary, Amgen offers competitive and comprehensive total compensation programs aligned with local industry standards.
