OverviewThis is an exceptional opportunity to join the Leeds and York Partnership Foundation NHS Trust as a Consultant in the National Inpatient Centre for Psychological Medicine (NICPM). We are seeking an innovative clinician to take on a pivotal role during a time of dynamic service transformation. The post supports the redesign of service provision as part of the pilot for the Treatment and Rehabilitation for Adults with Complex Conditions Service (TRACCS).
You will join a nationally recognised team dedicated to excellence in the management of complex physical and psychological comorbidities.
- Provide high-level medical leadership and direct clinical care within a specialist inpatient setting.
- Work within a robust multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic treatment to patients with complex needs.
- Play a central role in the operational success of the TRACCS pilot, helping shape the future of service redesign.
- Cover the inpatient unit alongside a 0.4 WTE Consultant colleague, delivering expert assessment and holistic management for patients with severe and complex physical and psychological co‑morbidities.
- Collaborate with a specialist multidisciplinary team to deliver the TRACCS pathway, ensuring integrated, high-quality care for the most complex patients.
- Registered healthcare practitioner with required UK visa sponsorship; the Trust does not offer sponsorship for non‑registered roles.
- A strong clinical background in liaison psychiatry or psychological medicine, with experience in complex physical and psychological comorbidities.
- Demonstrated ability to provide medical leadership in a specialist inpatient setting.
