Various Levels Available Based On Qualifications And Experience
OverviewThe following statements describe the general nature and level of work for this position and are not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and skills.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on technical matters related to CAS products and procedures.
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
- Understand and support national, regional and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals within all CAS products.
- Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business.
- Partner with Account Manager, Regional Manager and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CAS solutions products.
- Coordinate with sales and clinical teams in the region; serve as a Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff.
- Act as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to be proficient in mapping technology.
- High school diploma plus a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- Associate degree plus a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- Bachelor degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or technical discipline with minimum of four years of work experience in cardiac field, hospital/clinic or sales.
- Proven track record with technical training assignments.
- Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, in a hospital/clinic or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
- Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
Job Requirements
- Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available for unscheduled needs.
- Clinical Specialists may travel outside of their territory and may require overnight stays.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Ability to move freely within the facility, use a computer, keyboard and mouse, and interact with personal computers.
- Must be able to stand/sit/walk for 8 hours a day and travel up to 25% of the time.

Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. The base salary range is intended for U.S. locations (excludes PR) and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. This role is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
- Salary range: $ – $ annually (U.S.).
