• Review and interpret veterinarian orders and prescriptions for appropriateness and safety
• Manage prescription workflow processes, correcting errors and documenting patient profiles
• Verify prescriptions for pets in accordance with policies and regulations, and counsel pet owners on medications
• Oversee the work performed by support personnel, including data entry related to pet medications
• Maintain focus on tasks while efficiently completing job functions

• Minimum of a bachelor s degree in pharmacy and a current Pharmacist license in good standing
• Veterinary compounding experience preferred
• Experience with PCAB accreditation preferred
• Multiple state licenses preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations and compounded preparations

• Familiarity with veterinary compounding practices
• Experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
• Leadership skills to coach and mentor pharmacy team members
• Proficiency in using multiple data entry systems
• Ability to multitask effectively between job functions
