Therapeutic Alliance LLC is a private mental health agency offering professional mental health counseling throughout Virginia. We have provided culturally sensitive counseling services to children, adults and their families in several languages for many years. Clients comprise all cultural, racial and economic backgrounds, including individuals with different sexual orientations. Job SummaryWe are looking for a sharp, energetic ABA Technician who can provide therapeutic services to individuals in their care. We strive to deliver professional pride and accomplishment to each staff member and to continue providing high-quality home-based services to our clients. As an ABA Technician, you would be making a difference in the lives of our clients on a daily basis.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Work directly with clients on your caseload to create and manage individualized service plans (ISP) that cater to each client’s needs, as recognised by the BCBA.
- Create and implement interventions that meet the recognized goals of each client.
- Build rapport and foster positive relationships with those on your caseload.
- Assist in recommending and obtaining wrap-around services relevant for your clients.
- Be a resource and provide guidance to individuals and their families on your caseload.
- This position reports to the Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
- High School Diploma required;
College Degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university;
Master’s preferred. - Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a significant plus.
- At least one year of proven mental health experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
- Hard working with strong interpersonal skills and high attention to detail; a passion for exceeding expectations.
- Open availability and flexibility to work nights and weekends to meet client needs.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
