Job Summary: The Crisis Hotline is the first contact and representation of Integral Care by phone to the public, clients, community, and providers. Texts and chats coming into the 988 National Suicide Crisis Lifeline are answered by Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs) 24/7, including holidays.

The Crisis Chat/Text Trainer’s Primary Duties are to:

• Provide training on chat/text training to front line clinicians.
• Review chats and texts along with documentation of front line clinicians.
• Answer chats and texts as needed by providing crisis intervention services and risk assessments.
• Complete initial screenings.
• Link callers with the appropriate service providers.

These duties are completed with a focus on customer care, wherein clinicians will find ways to best meet the needs of clients. The crisis chat/text trainer works under the supervision of a Licensed clinician (LPHA) and collaborates with community partners, including but not limited to APD, TCSO, medical facilities, and schools.

Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. A flexible work schedule may be required. Integral Care employees strive to maintain a trauma-sensitive workplace and to foster a supportive environment of care.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a major in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

• Current and valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

• Preferred:
  Crisis and customer services care experience in mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Bilingual is a plus.

  Full-Time
• Workhours: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Workdays:
  Sunday – Wednesday
• Salary: $30.86 per hour plus an additional 10% crisis stipend
• Position may be eligible for differential pay:
  Second Shift $3.25/hour;
  Third Shift $7.25/hour;
  Weekend Shift $8.00
