Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated In-Home Behavior Technician to join our team full-time. This role involves working directly with children with autism and other developmental disabilities in their homes to implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in the client’s home setting
- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in the development and modification of treatment goals
- Collaborate with the supervisory team and caregivers to ensure client success
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of care
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with families and caregivers in a home-based environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Livonia, MI area
- Background in social work, special education, behavioral health, or patient care is a plus
- Ability to work Saturdays
Requirements:
- Driver’s License (Required)
- Ability to commute to and work in client homes in Livonia, MI
