We have a new and exciting opportunity for a band7
Occupational Therapist to join our team based at St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of an experienced team of therapists in a mix of community settings, early years settings, homesand school shaving independence and autonomy to manage your own caseload.
In your role you will be expected to deliver a high standard ofoccupationaltherapy care to children and young people with developmental and complex needs,therefore for this role we are looking forsomeonewith a realpassionfor seeing young children reach their potential.
As part of an integrated therapy team, you will have the opportunity to share and learn from Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists working alongside you. Wevaluethe development of our staff and offertrainingopportunities as led by service/local population needs.
Our core working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00 but we can offer flexibility around this. The role will involve some travelto clinic/educational settings but also leaves room for some remote/home working.
Permanent part-time position available,full-time options considered.
Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs
Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and providing support to more junior staff
Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested
Maintainaccurateand contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHCP Assessment process and tribunals as required
Use the Care Aims care planning approach, impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures
Provide specialist clinical care including assessment,diagnosis and interventions, fora paediatric caseload
