Position Overview
We are a growing, client-centered therapy practice in Michigan dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to our community.
We’re expanding our team to better serve our clients and create a sustainable, supportive work environment for our clinicians.
We are seeking fully licensed therapists to join our collaborative practice in a hybrid role (virtual with at least one in-person day per week in Michigan). This position offers the opportunity to build and grow your own caseload within a supportive practice environment, with pathways toward clinical supervision roles.
Employment Type:
Part-time with opportunity to grow toward full-time
Caseload:
Maximize 15 clients to ensure quality care and prevent burnout
Work Model:
Hybrid – primarily remote with at least one in-person day weekly at our Michigan location
Licensure
Required:
Must be fully licensed in Michigan (LPC, LMFT, or LP. LLPC will also be considered.)
Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Detroit, MI 48235
- Provide individual, couples, or family therapy to an assigned caseload (max 15 clients)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and ethical guidelines
- Participate in weekly team meetings and case consultations
- Collaborate with practice owner and colleagues to ensure continuity of care
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in Michigan (LPC, LMFT, or LP)
- Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate home office setup
- Current malpractice insurance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with or interest in providing clinical supervision
- Interest in developing specialty areas or niche populations
- Experience with telehealth platforms
- Commitment to long-term practice growth and development
- Sustainable caseload limits to prevent burnout and ensure quality care
