Position:
Life Enrichment Coordinator
Availability: every other weekend, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• Assist in planning, scheduling and leading community activities, programs, holiday celebrations, and special events.
• Introduce new residents and their families to the community’s life enrichment programs.
• Assist in coordinating holiday decoration displays for the community.
• Contribute to resident assessments by helping complete Life Stories.
• Assist in activity attendance tracking and family messaging via Cedarhurst’s electronic platform.
• Attend monthly virtual education meetings provided by Home Office Support.
• Drive the community bus for outings and appointments as needed.
• Ensure effective communication with residents’ families concerning residents’ care and well‑being.
• Work well with others, take direction from management, and intervene and resolve conflicts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and web‑based platforms.
• Experience with electronic health record and HR systems is an advantage.

• May need to walk or stand for extended periods and move throughout the community.
• May need to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance.
• Required to communicate effectively and interpret written information.
• May need to lift up to 50 pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
• Must follow infection prevention and control protocols, including PPE use.
• Must participate in all staff activities aimed at fostering teamwork, unity, and morale.
• Must stay current on training and ongoing education initiatives, pursuing self‑improvement.
