Senior Consultant - Healthcare Compliance

• Perform comprehensive audits of facility and outpatient/professional claims for coding accuracy
• Conduct education sessions for physicians and other healthcare practitioners based on audit results
• Review clinical documentation and coding to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
• Analyze paid claims data reports and develop risk‑informed audit plans
• Assist clients with regulatory inquiries, payer reviews, and special compliance projects

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in MS‑DRG, AP‑DRG, and APR‑DRG coding/auditing
• One or more nationally recognized inpatient coding compliance certifications required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
• Strong analytical thinking and detail orientation

• Bachelor's degree, RN/LPN, or other clinical credentials preferred
• Experience using Electronic Health Record systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
• Proficiency in developing clinical documentation and coding audit tools
• Understanding of sampling and basic data analytics (Pivot Tables)
• Exceptional flexibility, organization, and time management skills
