Job SummaryUnder the supervision of the Manager of Spiritual Health and Education, the Pool Chaplain provides spiritual support to patients, visitors, and staff members. The role utilizes a wide range of pastoral skills, including listening/attending, empathic reflection, conflict resolution/confrontation, crisis management, and appropriate use of religious/spiritual resources. The chaplain is responsible for performing duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Master of Divinity degree or equivalent preferred and required within two years of hire, plus one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education and denominational endorsement for chaplaincy.
