The Behavior Stabilization Team (BeST) is part of Texana’s Center’s Specialized Services Division. Texana Center is a 501(c)3 public, not for profit organization whose mission is to deliver life changing services to people with behavioral health issues and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Texana provides a wide variety of behavioral analytic services and has a long history of involvement in public policy at the state and local levels.
Texana’s Behavior Analysts are provided with opportunities to collaborate with others and to conduct behavior analytic research. The BeST is a well-established program that has been providing high quality ABA treatment for over 10 years.

Role Responsibilities
- The Behavior Analyst Supervisee works under the direction of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) until obtaining their BCBA certification and License.
- Behavior Analyst Supervisees must sit for the BCBA exam within three months of hire and must pass the exam within 6 months of hire.
- Primary job responsibilities include daily supervision and training of assigned BeST staff and daily oversight of each individual’s treatment program.
- Maintaining a caseload of 10‑15 clients. If the caseload is smaller than 10‑15 clients, the BCBA Clinical Supervisor or Behavior Analyst Supervisee may also provide direct technician services to clients until the full caseload is established.
- Developing individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs for each assigned child based on behavioral assessment and individualized data and family input.
- Conducting the initial implementation of the programs; reviewing data frequently, modifying programs as necessary to get maximum progress, and monitoring treatment integrity.
