Integrated School Based Counselors​/Therapists

Overview

Integrated School Based Counselors/Therapists in Maine. Positions located in Hancock, Penobscot, and Waldo Counties. Full-time with variable hours. 10-month positions to align with the school year and 12-month positions that may include summer months in the intensive outpatient program or via telehealth for school-based clients.

• Provide school-based mental health counseling to children of all ages across the State of Maine.
• Deliver evidence-based services including psychosocial evaluations, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, IEP support, and family therapy when indicated.
• Act as a consultant and resource for the school system, guiding program development, decision-making, and implementation of plans to support student mental wellbeing.
• Coordinate with outpatient and telehealth services as appropriate to support school-based clients.

• Master’s Degree
• Valid License of LCPC-C, LMSW-CC, LCPC, or LCSW
• Eligibility for on-site or remote work arrangements; 10-month or 12-month employment options
