Position:
Hospice Outside Sales / Hospice Resource Coordinator.

Location:

Kalamazoo, MI 49008 (Home Office) with main service area in Kalamazoo and surrounding areas.

Hours:

Office hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Drive sales by building relationships with healthcare providers and community partners to increase hospice referrals.
• Utilize your network within the healthcare community to generate leads and close sales.
• Interact daily with patients, medical professionals, other referral sources, and the community to coordinate communication and documentation.
• Provide education to senior living communities, health systems, and referral sources.
• Grow service lines and receive referrals from healthcare community partners.
• Distribute and ensure all referral sources have proper forms and materials for company service lines.
• Provide feedback and document activity to execute the strategic plan to add ongoing value to accounts.

• Hospice or post-acute sales experience (discharge planners considered).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance.
• Proven interpersonal, coordination, and leadership skills with effective communication.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of hospice and palliative care.

• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active involvement in professional organizations and community activities.
